Democracy day at school

Democracy in the broad sense is understood as the freedom of a human being to express one's opinion; freely expressing the will of the people to choose political, economic, social and cultural systems. Students and their teacher talked about it on the citizenship lessons. They watched film.  After reviewing the film, a discussion was held, giving the opportunity to remember the values of democracy, promoting dialogue and tolerance, assessing the situation of these values in the world, in Lithuania and in each of us. Students realized that freedom and democracy could not be taken for granted, they had to be fought daily and held responsibility. For half a century, Lithuania has been under control of censorship, censorship, violence, cynical lies, ideology vaccination, and fundamental human rights violations, and knows the taste and value of freedom, and the younger generation needs to cherish and cherish it.

The officials of Pakruojis municipality organized an event for the students of the town where they talked about tolerance, citizenship, love for the country, and responsibility. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and speak about it. All had a good time together.
